Events and Celebrations

Each month we celebrate national holidays and other special occasions. We teach the children the history behind the celebrations and also incorporate fun games, learning and creative outlets to showcase and celebrate the events. Our philosophy is to better appreciate and understand the various cultures in our world, which is why we celebrate diversity and welcome multicultural holidays to feature for our special events.

We welcome the sharing of heritage and unique customs from other parts of the world. If a family would like to share a cultural practice, please reach out to a staff member.

A typical year could include celebrations like:

  • Martin Luther King Day

  • Valentine’s Day

  • 100 Days of School

  • St. Patrick’s Day

  • Easter

  • Passover

  • Cinco De Mayo

  • Memorial Day

  • Chinese New Year

  • Ramadan & Eid

  • Labor Day

  • Halloween

  • Veteran’s Day

  • Thanksgiving

  • Hanakkuh

  • Christmas

  • Kwanzaa

  • Three Kings

Plus special events like the Book Fair, Dr. Seuss Day and many others. Our Dance With My Father is always one of our more popular events.
